Robata-Yaki is a Japanese grilling style meaning "around the hearth" ("robata") and "grilling" ("yaki"). It started in Sendai with veggies and in Kushiro, Hokkaido, with seafood. Known for fresh ingredients and healthy, oil-free cooking, it's now popular in Japan and New York.
